Forum for Large-scale Operations in Parallel Systems
A user-driven technical forum for people who run high-performance computing and parallel storage at scale. Participants present on any HPC topic from their own environment, with a strong lean toward GPFS / IBM Storage Scale.
This is a community-led, peer-to-peer event, not a vendor conference. IBM takes part and sends development talent from the Storage Scale team, but the agenda belongs to the attendees.
What makes it different
- Intentionally small: 30-50 participants, ideally 30, to keep the discussion fluid.
- Conversation during the talks, not only after them.
- 45-minute presentation slots with 15 minutes built in for open discussion.
- Closed and invite-only, with no more than four people per organisation.
Our spirit
A positive, collaborative atmosphere where learning flows in all directions. Presenters and attendees alike are expected to bring questions, insights, and real-world challenges. Real problems are welcome throughout the event, not just in the Q&A.
